In the last election, we came tantalizingly close to victory in this constituency, falling short by only 68 votes, closing the gap from the 4,000 votes that we were behind in the 2006 election.

To achieve this tremendous gain, in addition to the fabulous candidate we have with Troy DeSouza, it took the combined efforts of a team of dedicated volunteers. With the present state of Canadian politics and a minority government, we are in a perpetual state of readiness for the next election. Election campaigns take the combined time of the people volunteering and of course money.

We urgently need volunteers before and during an election campaign. These volunteer roles can be fun and you get to spend time with people of similar political beliefs with the common goal of electing a Conservative candidate.
